About Us

Horses on a Budget is an online and mobile tack store for horse lovers who appreciate quality but don't have unlimited budgets. We founded Horses on a Budget in 2014 after years of being "horse poor parents". 

We didn't want to settle for outdated show clothes or cheaply made tack, and we don't want you to either. So we are constantly looking for quality products at affordable prices.  

Kim loves educating new horse show parents and helping seasoned horse show exhibitors find great deals. She grew up showing in western, english and speed events in Eastern Oregon. She has also been judging 4-H and high school equestrian events for nearly 15 years.

Vic did not grow up in the horse world. For him, the business is a way to meet new friends and fund our next vacation. We have a very long list of places we still  haven't seen.

Together, we work hard to provide our customers with quality tack, show clothes and stable items at affordable prices. We also carry jewelry, gifts and western-themed home decor. Our inventory changes as items are sold and new treasures are found. So please come back often and share us with your friends.
